VIEWING 2 DIFFERENT CHANNEL IN SERVER AND CLIENT

In the previuos pages we have described how change channel on SERVER or CLIENT but viewing same channel on both PC.
The new PROG MEDIA SERVER offers some functions that allow to transmit whole trasponder stream .
Sorting the channels list "for transponder" we can notice that inside a frequency coexist various channels:

The new "Prog Media Server" allows viewing, for example, RAI1 on SERVER and same channel on the CLIENT. Or it is possible to change channel on CLIENT choosing RAI2, RAI3 or other (always into the frequency 11766000-V) also leaving RAI1 locked on the SERVER. 

The TS Transport Stream function allows not only send audio and video to the CLIENT but also other data as teletext, epg. This is like also CLIENT had a DVB card.

SETTING PC SERVER

From SERVICE select PROG MEDIA SERVER

In dialogue box, disable "Send current video channel in mpeg2.. " and instead enable "Send transport stream.. ".
In this way we will send the whole stream (and therefore Tv, radio and data) of a transponder from SERVER to the CLIENT.
Clicking on "Filter settings" we can filter only channels that interest us.

ATTENTION!!!: It's absolutely not not a good idea send the whole transponders to the CLIENT!!! LAN Bandwidth could become saturated and therefore give problems in visualization. Besides, in frequency selected for example, there are "only" 7 channels video and 2 radios. On some transponders there are many more channel and transmission surely will collapse.
Obviously it also depends on channels bitrate. Selecting 3 channels with low bitrate could be less heavy than an only channel with high bitrate, as for instance TV8 Turkey or HDTV channels.

Once selected channels confirm the choice with OK. Return in previous window and you will see the values in box "TRAFFIC" progressively increase.

Among the square parentheses you will see also values in byte/s that will help you to understand and compare the actual passing bandwidth.
If the value is too much high it recommends to return in FILTER SETTINGS and to decrease the selected channels.
When change options it's best to restart ProgDVB on CLIENT.
Close the window with OK and start one of the selected channels.
