IR Manager v1.0.0

This program is a small utitily allowing
to launch windows applications by means
of an IR remote control. Its intended use
is to be able to start and/or control DVB
applications like ProgDVB or MyTheatre by
means of a remote control, although the
utility is capable of launching any
Windows application.

The utility will capture commands sent
by WinLIRC (required), while you are able
to assign the appropriate execution to a
specific remote control command. If the
application to be launched supports command
line arguments, it is possible to control
specific functions of it as well, such as
starting in fullscreen mode e.g..


Installation:
1.) If appropriate, install WinLIRC (this
archive includes WinLIRC and provides
a *.CFG file for Technisats' TS35 remote
control. For other types/brands of remote
controls, you will have to find and apply
the appropriate *.CFG file),
2.) Run IRManagerSetup.exe and follow
instructions. Program will be immediately
ready for use.

Notes: - This program is a tray application,
you will only notice its presence by
an EYE shape icon in the Windows tray,
- Paths to applications to launch
being specified are automatically
converted to UNC. This means that it
is possible to launch applications
on a network location.

Troubleshooting:

In case of unexpected behaviour of an application
launched by IR Manager, check for conflicting
command assignments between IR Manager and (the)
launched application(s).
